Creating a culture of achievement
By using the power of suggestion within your classroom, every
teacher can make a significant contribution to developing a culture
of achievement within their school. Compliment other initiatives
within your school community by developing the skill of using
language as a tool of motivation. By the end of this 90 minute
session, participants will be equipped with skills for immediate
use.
Balancing the demand of work and home
Employees have life demands placed upon them. Relationship problems
will emerge for most workers. Children and ageing parents create
pressures arising from unpredictable events. Illness or a child
who is not coping academically or socially will be emotionally
draining on any parent.
Often the timing of personal, interpersonal and family needs
is beyond an employee’s control. It is in the interest of
the employer and employee to minimize the impact of these life
events upon productivity. This session will examine strategies
to promptly resolve issues, enhance concentration, focus and performance.
Create a win-win situation within your organization.
Rain check your counselling skills
Communicating with parents is not as simple
as sharing information. Learn to effectively work with emotions
of parents and achieve better outcomes. Be in control of your
transactions with parents.
Public Speaking
Teachers, like other professionals, experience anxiety in situations
requiring speaking skills in front of large audiences at conferences,
seminars, speech or presentation evenings. This 2 hour interactive
workshop will send you away not only understanding how to confidently
give a good speech but well rehearsed in the skill of doing so.
